How to use Google My Maps

In order to see information on each historic site shown on the map, including description of the site, Ordnance Survey grid references, Photo (if shown):
* click on box on the top right of the map to open in full screen.
* either click on the subject in the box on the left of the Map or click on the individual Icons to see description, grid reference of site, or photos (if available).

* Use + / – buttons to zoom in or out of map.
* left click and hold to move map to a different position.
* once you’ve finished, click x in tab to close tab.

For example, you can choose between Bronze Age, Iron Age, Roman, Old Tracks and Roman Roads or even what Battles took place close to the village.
